IPCC Leadership

 Rami Nasrallah - Head of Board of Directors, , is the Chief Executive Officer of IPCC. Mr. Nasrallah studied at Hebrew University, where he received a Bachelor degree, in Middle East Studies and Political Science, and his Masters degree in International Relations. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Urban Planning in the TU-Delft University in the Netherlands. During the period 1993 - 1996 he was a political advisor and Israel Desk Officer at Orient House in Jerusalem. From 1996 to 1998, he was director of the Orient House Special Unit, where he coordinated a core team of experts. Their main task was to prepare for the final status negotiations on Jerusalem issues. In addition to his role at IPCC, Mr. Nasrallah is a Research Associate on the "Conflict in Cities" Project in the Architecture Faculty of Cambridge University since 2003. His research has appeared in many publications. His recent research appears in: Jerusalem on the Map III, The Wall-l Fragmenting the Palestinian Fabric in Jerusalem and the City in Collision: Jerusalem and The Principles of Conflict Urbanism. His latest publication is Is a Viable Democratic Palestine Possible?- Future Scenarios for Palestine.

  Prof. Rassem Khamaisi - Head of Academic Committee, is a professional urban and regional planner and Senior Lecturer in the Geography Department at Haifa University. He received his masters degree in Town and Regional Planning from Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology, and his doctorate from Hebrew University in Jerusalem in the Department of Geography. Prof. Khamaisi has published extensively on urban planning issues for the Palestinian community in Israel. He is a primary co-author in seven volumes of the IPCC Jerusalem Strategic Planning Series: The Jerusalem Urban Fabric; Envisioning the Future of Jerusalem and Jerusalem on the Map (I,II, and III) and two works on the separation wall.

 Dr. Robert D. Brooks - Senior Consultant for Publications and Research, He received his BA degree from Washington University in St. Louis in English and Economics and his MA and Ph. D. degrees in the field of communication at Cornell University, New York. He has taught international, political, business and organizational communication at several universities, including the University of Illinois, the University of Wisconsin, Northwestern University, and the Universitaet Koeln (Germany). A past chairman of the National Communication Association Commission on International and Intercultural Communication, Dr. Brooks is a fellow in the Middle East Studies Association and the Principal Editor of IPCC's Jerusalem Strategic Planning Series. He has co-authored several of the books in the series.

 Walid Salem - Board Member, Mr. Salem is the Director of the Panorama Center for Democracy and Community Development-Jerusalem. He is widely known throughout the West Bank as a trainer in community development projects, having trained over 25,000 Palestinians in his workshops. He has published extensively on student movements, refugee problems, and civil society.

IPCC Team Staff

 Adeeb Saleem - Senior Project Coordinator, Mr. Saleem received his BA degree in Development Studies from Al Quds University. He is responsible for Civil Society Programs where he has a long experience in youth projects and networking.

 Shahd Waari - Senior Project Coordinator, Ms. Waari received her degree in Architectural engineering from Birzeit University. She was part of the IPCC Palestinian team of young architects in the Geographies of conflict project . She has also engaged in a field survey on the impact of the Israeli segregation wall on the Jerusalem area which was published in The Wall: Fragmenting the Palestinian in Jerusalem.

 Mona Al Qutob - Project Coordinator,Ms Al Qutob graduated from Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada with a Bachelor of Architectural Science majoring in Building Science. She has been responsible for maps, visuals and illustrations in several IPCC publications.

 Bahjat H. Bakri - Accountant,Mr Bakri is a graduate of Beirut Arab University, with a Bachelor in Accounting degree. He is Senior general auditor in Al Yousef & Co. Auditing, and currently operates a private accounting office in Jerusalem.

 Issa W. Dibbiny - Project Coordinator, Mr. Dibbiny graduated from Birzeit University in Palestine with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and a concentration in Interior Design.

 Nimala Kharoufeh - Project Coordinator, Ms. Kharoufeh received her BA degree in Social work and Psychology from Bethlehem University. Her activities lie in civil society projects: she is significantly involved in projects which seek to empower youth and women in politics. She is also a non-violence and conflict resolution trainer.

 Rasha Abdeljawwad - Project Coordiantor, Ms. Abdeljawwad received her Bachelor Degree in Finance from Birzeit University and has been certified as a Stock Broker by the Palestinian Stock Exchange. She has acquired the necessary skills and qualifications through extensive project development, planning and technical bachgound in business development which enable her to contribute to building youth capacity and skill improvement by engaging in projects led by IPCC.

 Reem Jubeh - Administrative Assistant, Ms. Jubeh received her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Birzeit University.

 Nadira Hindo- Project Coordinator, Ms. Hindo graduated from Birzeit University in Palestine with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and a concentration in Urban Planning and Rehabilitation

 Ali Abulhaj - Webmaster, Mr. Abulhaj received his BSC degree in Information Technology from Eastern Mediterranean University in Northern Cyprus and has worked on several web and database applications and has developed the IPCC website.
