 IPCC Youth Forum

The youth of Palestine constitute one of the society's largest population segments. Unfortunately, it is also the group most affected by the social, psychological, economic, urban and political implications of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Unemployment, continuous closures and restricted mobility have all led many young people to either utter despair and passivity or to violence. In the absence of visionary programs that channel the enormous energy of youth, young people have had little encouragement to develop their creativity in constructive ways. Subsequently, many follow paths that are destructive to both the community and the individual. To address this problem, IPCC has established a Youth Forum to train a young generation of future leaders and to provide them with the necessary tools to become constructive and nonviolent advocates for Palestinian goals.
